Mule Day 2010 - Naomi Judd "Grand Marshal"
Feb 11, 2010 – Columbia Daily HeraldMule Day officials have announced Naomi Judd as the 2010 Mule Day Parade Grand Marshal. “We’re so excited to have Naomi coming to Mule Day as this year’s Grand Marshal. She is one of our neighbors, and it will be such a privilege to have her here,” said Louise Mills, Mule Day public relations director.
Dave Skillington, of the Maury County Bridle and Saddle Club which sponsors Mule Day, said Judd will make a great grand marshal. “She’s a great choice because she is so community-minded. Even as busy as she is, Naomi still makes time to stay involved in many activities in the Leiper’s Fork community. We’re very fortunate she’s agreed to be with us this year,” Skillington said.
The Mule Day festivities attract over 100,000 visitors annually and the parade will be held on Saturday, April 10th at 11am.
